Al Duhail Sports Club Management succeeded in concluding an agreement with the Portuguese international defender Rúben Afonso Borges Semedo coming from the Greek Club Olympiakos for three seasons.

Semedo who was born on 04 April 1994 is considered one of the distinguished defenders who succeeded in proving their capabilities with Olympiacos FC, FC Porto and the Portuguese National Team.

With this new signing, So Duhail Club completed the quota of professional players including the Belgian winger Edmilson Da Silva, the Korean winger Nam Tae Hee, the Kenyan striker Michael Olunga and the Tunisian midfielder Ferjani Sassi.
