Ismail Ahmed, the team manager, thanked the management of the Saudi Al-Taawun Club for the warm welcome that the team found upon its arrival in the Saudi city of Buraidah. Ismail said in a statement to the club’s official website: “Thankfully, we arrived at our residence at the Movenpick Hotel, amid a great hospitality from the management of the Al-Taawun Club, which welcomed us well, which is not unexpected from them.”

Ahmed said: The team performed its first training this evening, and the players are fully focused and are all determined to reach the second round of the tournament that Al-Duhail will enter in order to continue the great performance, namely winning the title of His Highness the Emir’s Cup. This reflects the great care that the club management pays to the team and work to provide the atmosphere that helps the players to perform well on the field, and God willing, we will crown our season by ascending to the next round in the tournament.
