Our first team of football Assistant Coach Sebastian Domingo described the confrontation that awaits Al Duhail in Round 4 of the QNB Stars League versus Al Markhiya as difficult. Domingo said in the pre-match press conference held yesterday at 6 pm in the club’s press conference hall: “We are anticipating a different match versus a good and strong team, especially when they lose the ball. Al Markhiya is characterized with their continuous movement and the quality of counter-attacks, and I expect the match to be open, but we must strive to find and create spaces in order to facilitate our attacks.
Domingo said: Our victory over Al Rayyan in the previous round was very important because it instilled confidence in the players and gave them the motivation to continue the strong performance, and although the team did a good level in the first and second rounds, luck was not on our side and we did not achieve the desired results, the Qatari league is very good. It has strong clubs, but Al Duhail is capable of proving their potentials.
Domingo spoke about the absence of Edmilson in the coming rounds and said: It is difficult to compensate Edmilson’s absence, as he presents distinct level of performance. He is a good dribbler and create chances for his teammates in the front line. Edmilson is an important player in the Qatari league in general not only for Al Duhail, and in order to compensate his absence we have to make the team work together on the field of play.
