The team lost the postponed match from Round 9 of the Expo Stars League, which brought Al Duhail together with Al Sadd at 07:30 pm today at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, by three goals to one, leaving the team tally frozen at 17 points in fifth place.

The first half of the match ended with our team in the lead with a clean goal, which was scored in the tenth minute with a header by Karim Boudiaf, taking advantage of the corner kick taken by Al Moez Ali.

In the second half, Al Sadd were able to equalize the score with a penalty kick executed by Akram Afif in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Al Sadd scored their second goal through their player Plata, and in the last minute of stoppage time, Akram Afif scored his team’s third goal.

The team had completed the match without the services of their player, Ibrahim Kader, to whom the referee showed a red card in the 81st minute after tackling Al Sadd player Mohamed Waad.
