Al Duhail Head Coach Christophe Galtier expressed his regret after the team’s loss this evening to Al Wakra in the postponed match of the Round 6 of the Expo Stars League. The coach said in a statement to the official website after the end of the match: A great disappointment that we experienced from today’s match versus Al Wakra. We were ahead in the score and Al Wakra managed to equalise, but we scored our second goal, and in the second half the game turned completely around within 5 minutes.

The coach added: It is true that there are many absences and injuries that kept more than one player away from us, but we committed many defensive mistakes during the match, and we retreated physically and this was clearly evident among the midfield players.

The coach concluded: We must continue to work and correct defensive errors because we noticed this in many matches and in which we conceded many goals. Therefore, we must intensify our efforts and recover quickly. We have another match in 4 days in which we will recover the efforts of a number of our players. However we must maintain morale because a loss of confidence can occur and we must correct defensive errors as quickly as possible.
