Al Moez Ali, captain of Al Duhail, expressed his happiness to be in the first edition of the Qatari-Emirati Super Cup.

In the pre-match press conference held this evening, the player said: “This is a special edition and we are happy to be in the UAE. We are all excited to play this match and we know the capabilities of Shabab Al Ahly and the quality of their players. For our part, we will present a good level of performance, as we have come to win the title and we will be fully focused throughout the match.”

“We have a final match ahead of us and we know that we will face Shabab Al Ahly on their home ground and in front of their fans,” Al Moez added. “However, Al Duhail players have a professional mentality and can play any match in any stadium under anycircumstances. But we must focus and enter with a final mentality. God willing, both teams will present an enjoyable match for the fans and we are determined to return to Doha with the championship shield.”

The captain continued: “This tournament has a special character and it is a wonderful thing to face our brothers, the players of Shabab Al Ahly, in the UAE. Our participation in the first edition is a special matter, especially in light of the great public interaction we have found. We have good memories in the UAE and this tournament will be an incentive for all clubs in both countries to win championships in order to be present in the next edition.
