Al Duhail lost their match in the Qatari-Emirati Super Cup, which was held at 07:50 PM today at Rashid Stadium in Dubai, to Shabab Al Ahly team by one goal to two, crowning the Emirati team as champions of the first edition of the tournament.
The first half of the match ended with the team leading by a goal scored in the 36th minute with a powerful shot from the Brazilian Philippe Coutinho, who received a pass from Al Moez Ali outside the penalty area of opponents and did not hesitate to launch a rocket that found the back of the net in the far right corner.
In the second half, the strong performance from both teams continued until Shabab Al Ahly managed to equalize in the 55th minute with a header from their player Luca.
The excitement of the match continued in the final minutes as each team sought to find the back of the net and score the second goal, but the attacks flew from both sides until Shabab Al Ahly managed to score their second goal in the third minute of stoppage time with a header from Igor Jesus.
