Bassam Al Rawi, the defender of our first football team at Al Duhail Club, confirmed the difficulty of the upcoming match versus Al Shamal in the Ooredoo Stars League during the pre-match press conference held today at Al Duhail Club press conference hall. He stated that the team has some mistakes that they will work together to address with the coaching staff and his teammates, starting from today’s training session.

Bassam Al-Rawi continued: Of course, we will face a strong team, led by a great player, Baghdad Bounedjah. However, our team also has a strong defence capable of stopping his threat, and everyone will be fully focused from the start to finish.

Regarding his performance in the last match and the appearance of some nervousness and emotions on the field, Bassam Al Rawi commented: I focused on the defensive side because it is my primary duty on the field, and there was no excessive emotion; it was just the normal emotions of a match. The coach spoke to me and explained the mistakes I had made. The match ended, and there was no player from the side I was playing on scored or created any chances.
