Al Duhail first football team managed to win the QSL Cup title after defeating their counterparts Al Arabi 2-1 in the final match held at Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium in Qatar Sports Club.
Al Duhail started the match with the following starting lineup:

Al Duhail first attempt on Al Arabi goal came in the 17th minute after Luis Alberto received the ball on the edge of Al Arabi penalty area and shot powerfully towards the goal, but Al Arabi goalkeeper managed to control the ball, preventing Al Duhail first goal from reaching his net.
The 27th minute witnessed Al Duhail first goal after Ghanem Al-Menhali penetrated from the left side and sent a precise cross that Michael Olunga skillfully converted with his left foot into Al Arabi net.
In the 36th minute, a remarkable exchange between Luis Alberto and Michael Olunga almost saw Al Duhail add a second goal, but the brilliance of Al Arabi goalkeeper prevented Luis Alberto’s cross from reaching Al Duhail attackers, thwarting the chance for a second goal.
In the 39th minute, Benjamin Bourigeaud managed to add Al Duhail second goal after slipping behind Al Arabi defenses and firing a precise shot towards Al Arabi goal, which the goalkeeper could not keep out, settling into Al Arabi net and announcing Al Duhail second goal.
The 55th minute saw Al Arabi reduce the score, making it 2-1 in favor of Al Duhail.
In the 77th minute, after reviewing VAR, the referee awarded a penalty kick to Al Arabi, but our goalkeeper Bautista Burki’s brilliance maintained Al Duhail lead after he successfully saved the penalty.
In the final minute of the match, Michael Olunga almost added Al Duhail third goal, but Al Arabi’s goalkeeper intervened brilliantly to keep the score at a one-goal difference.
The ten minutes of added time did not bring any change to the score-line, and the referee blew his whistle, announcing the end of the match and Al Duhail crowned QSL Cup 2024 champions.
