Al Duhail Club Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, who recently transferred to the team during the winter transfer window, emphasized the importance and strength of the upcoming match versus Al Shahania, given the approaching end of the Ooredoo Stars League competition and the importance of the remaining match points for the team.
Ziyech opened his statements during the pre-match press conference by saying: I think this match will be of great importance, especially considering last week’s result. The team has six matches left until the end of the season, we have started entering the crucial stage of the Ooredoo Stars League competition, every point has become very valuable, this match in particular will be a real test of our ability to react and come back strong.

Ziyech went on: In terms of my readiness, I feel completely ready, I have trained here for four weeks and each training session was more intense than the previous one, at this stage I feel physically and mentally ready to participate and make a difference.
Ziyech concluded: It is natural for any player to need regular participation time to regain his full level, this is an essential part of the process, especially after a long period in which I did not play any official matches, where I played my last full match back in early September, so a long time has passed but I am making steady progress and my rhythm is increasing step by step, I have no doubt in my abilities and once I regain my full fitness, I know I will be a real attacking threat and I will be able to leave a clear mark on the team’s performance.
