Al Duhail first handball team secured their spot in the semifinal round of the 27th Asian Handball Championship after defeating their rival, Al Rayyan, in a thrilling quarterfinal match.

Al Duhail demonstrated a strong performance from the start to the finish, maintaining their lead throughout both halves of the match. The game, which witnessed a large number of spectators, saw Al Duhail emerge victorious with a final score of 24-23.

With this victory, Al Duhail will face Al-Khaleej of Saudi Arabia again in the semifinal. The match is scheduled to be held on Thursday at 7:00 PM at Al Duhail Indoor Hall.
