Our first team continued their training at 8:45 this evening at Al-Raed Stadium, before facing Pakhtakor Uzbekistan in the AFC Champions League’s fourth round of the group stage next Monday evening.
The technical staff, through training, continued its work in preparing the players and preparing them physically, technically and mentally, for this important match. The team will work to increase its chances of advancing to the next round of the competition, as Al Duhail occupies second place in the group behind Al Taawun Club, which is first in place. Both teams are equal in terms of points, however, the difference is in goals and direct confrontations.
The team had started its preparations yesterday evening, and the technical staff divided its players into two groups. The first group included the players who participated mainly in the previous match and performed their training in the hall at the team’s residence. The second group, which consisted of substitutes and players who did not participate in the match, went to the Al Raed club’s stadium and they performed the training normally, as their training varied between physical and technical exercises.
It is expected that the press conference will be at 3:30 pm tomorrow at the Golden Tulip Hotel, in which coach Hernan Crespo will talk about the team’s preparations for this match.
