South Korean Nam Tae will increase the number of AFC matches played with the team if he is selected to play in the next match against Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League’s group stage. It will be the 60th match for the player with Al Duhail after he first played for the team in the 2012 season.
During his participation with the team in the previous matches, Nam scored 13 goals, but his uniqueness was that he would create scoring opportunities and his great skill abilities, which always helped the team and contributed to the goals.
The 2015 season is considered special for the player with the team, as he participated in all matches after the team reached the quarter-final stage and played 10 matches, during which the Korean player scored 3 goals.
The 2018 season was the best season for Al Duhail and Nam, as the team passed the group stage with full points, after winning 6 matches and overcoming the knock out round by defeating the Emirati Al Ain team home and away. Al Duhail lost the return match against the Iranian team Persepolis after defeating it in the first leg by the goal of Al-Moez Ali. Nam Tae Hee clearly contributed to the team’s AFC journey that season and was one of the keys that coach Jamal Belmadi relied on during the 9 out of 10 of matches that Nam participated in.
