His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Committee, crowned our handball team with the Emir’s Cup for handball title for the third time, after defeating Al Arabi in the final match at 7 PM today at the main stadium of Al Duhail Sports Hall, with a score of 33 to 27.

‏The first half of the match ended with Al Duhail advancing 16 to 15, after a strong and exciting performance by the two teams.

In the second half, the two teams continued to show their best physical and technical effort, with Al Duhail advancing by one goal.

‏ In the last five minutes, Al Duhail succeeded in advancing by 6 goals after a great effort from the team’s players who defended strongly and attacked and won with a score of 33 to 27.
