Our first team of football launched thier Ooredoo Cup campaign with a huge win over Al Markhiya by 8 goals to 3 in the match played today in Thani bin Jassem Stadium which kicked off at 05:55 pm. The first half ended with Al Duahil in the lead by four goals by players Ahmed Moein at the 8th minute, Suhaib Jenan at the 14th minute, Lotfi Rabeh at the 22nd minute and Michael Olunga t the 22 minute.

In the second half, Al Markhiya managed to reduce the goal difference through the goal of player Youssef Ramadan at the 49th minute, however the Kenyan striker Michael Olunga returned to score again at the 75th and 78th minutes respectively. Al Markhiya player Mohamed Hashim scored his team second at the 81st minute, followed by Al Duhail seventh goal by Al Markhiya defender at the 82nd minute. Al Duhail player Rabeh Yahya scored the eighth goal at the 88th minute followed by the match final goal and Al Markhiya their at the 90th.
