Our first team of football scored important victory over Al Shamal in Round 11 fixture of the QNB Stars League played at 04:30 pm today in Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium to reach 23 points.

The first half ended in a goalless draw despite the obvious superiority of our team which was blocked by Al Shamal strong defense line.

In the second half Al Duhail continued putting pressure on Al Shamal defenses until our Kenyan striker Michael Olunga managed to score the first goal at the 61st minute from a follow up on the shot by Al Moez Ali that bounced back from Al Shamal goalkeeper. Olunga again scored the second goal at the 68th minute heading the ball into the net from the corner kick executed by Edmilson Da Silva.

The second half witnessed the participation of Edmilson Da Silva who was away since the mid of August due to injury in Al Rayyan match. Also our defender Mohamed Moussa participated today.
