Our first team of football succeeded in reaching Ooredoo Cup Final Match after achieving victory over Al Sadd by three goals to one in the semifinal match played today in Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium and kicked-off at 09:45. Al Duahil will play versus Umm Salal in the final next Monday evening.
The first half of the match ended in a tie by one goal each after an impressive performance from both sides. Al Sadd scored first at the 24th minute by their striker Ayoub Al Kaabi while Al Duhail equalized at the first minute of stoppage time by our midfielder Ferjani Sassi.
In the second half, our team managed to impose their dominance scoring the second gaol again by Ferjani Sassi at the 54th minute.
At the 88th minute of the match, the substitute Ismail Mohamed scored the third goal after a skilfull dribble from Ferjani Sassi who made the through assist to Ismail Mohamed inside the penalty area.
