- Our first team of football plays tomorrow evening their seventh final of Qatar Cup. Their first final was in the year 2014 playing versus Al Jaish which ended in a tie and al Jaish won by penalties.
- On the first of May 2015, Al Duhail played their second final versus Al Jaish again, but this time Al Duhail won match by one goal to gain the title. this was the first and second title in same context, as Al Duhail won the same competition with the old title (Heir Apparent Cup in 2013).
- The team’s third appearance in the final was on 29 April 2016, and Al Duhail lost to Al Jaish by two goals to one.
- The 2018 season witnessed the great achievement of the team by achieving the treble titles of the season (the league, the Qatar Cup and the Amir Cup), when Al Duhail defeated Al Sadd in the final match that was held on 27 April 2018 by two goals to one.
- The team’s fifth appearance in the final match of the Qatar Cup was on 17 January 2020, when Al Duhail lost to Al Sadd in the final match, and lost again in their sixth appearance in the final to Al Sadd again on 26 February 2021.
- The final match, which will bring together Al Duhail and Al Sadd on Thursday evening represents the fourth confrontation between both sides in this competition, as Al Duhail won one match and lost two matches.
