Qatar Stars League CEO Mr. Hani Taleb Ballan crowned our first team of football champions of the QNB Stars League 2022/2023 for the 8th time in Al Duhail Club history after defeating Al Shamal in the final round by five goals to two in the match played today and kicked-off at 7 pm in Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

The first half ended with Al Duhail in lead by four goals scored by Al Moez Ali and hattrick for Michael Olunga at the 7th, 21st, 31st and 35th minutes respectively.

With the kick-off of the second half, Al Shamal scored their first goal from a penalty kick executed by Mattias Nani at the 47th minute. Al Duhail didn’t take long to score the fifth goal by Michael Olunga at the 52nd minute. Al Shamal scored their second goal at the second minute of the stoppage time from a penalty.
