Al Duhail Club Vice President Mr. Khalifa Khamis conveyed his sincere congratulations to the Club President His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani on the occasion of wining the QNB Stars League for the 8th time in the club history. Mr. Khalifa said in a statement to the Club official website: Thank Allah for this coronation which the team accomplished to be the third title this season following the huge efforts exerted by everyone.

Mr. Khalifa said: We witnessed fierce competition this season and a distinguished performance from all clubs, and the competition continued until the last round, whether to determine the league champion or the team relegated to the second division, and our victory in the title reflects the great effort that everyone exerted in order to reach this moment, and certainly the team officials, the technical staff and the players deserve Congratulations, as well as all the fans of the club who supported us in all matches.

The Vice-President continued: We competed in all tournaments and succeeded in winning three of them: the Ooredoo Cup, the Qatar Cup and the league title, but we lost the title of the most expensive tournaments, Our work focused on winning all titles, but all in Allah hands. God willing, we will continue to work hard in order to compete in all tournaments internally and externally as this season, we qualified to the semifinal round of the AFC Champions League, which we will prepare ourselves again and better this time to compete for its title and be crowned with it.

Mr. Khalifa concluded: Now our players must rest for a while before resuming their preparation for the new season. I would like thank everyone for the achievements of this season and we shall prepare the team better for the next season.
