Our first team of football succeeded in concluding their season by winning the league title, which team missed for two seasons in a row, but this season Al Duhail players had another opinion after they sealed their lead in the club standings with a victory in the last round over Al Shamal team, ending with it all the ambitions of the clubs that were wrestling the team to snatch the title.
By achieving the league title, the team has succeeded in crowning with third title this season, after winning the Ooredoo Cup title, followed by the Qatar Cup title, and the league title was the final milestone, but team was knocked out the Amir Cup that they won last season, so this is the only championship which our team players lost locally.

Not only was the team distinguished locally, but they was also able to reach the semifinal round of the AFC Champions League for the first time in the club’s history, after it succeeded in topping their group, whose matches were held in April of last year in the Saudi city of Qusaim, and last February the tournament was completed with knock out stage fixtures, which were held in Doha, where the team succeeded in overcoming Al Rayyan in the Round of 16 followed by Al Shabab (KSA) in the quarterfinal round, but the team was eliminated in the semifinal round by Al Hilal (KSA).

The distinction achieved by the team this season will give everyone the desire to do more to continue achieving internal and continental achievements.
