Following their victory in the semifinal round over Kazma (Kuwait), our first team of handball has reached the final match of the Asian Club Championship for the fifth time, of which Al Duhail won 3 titles and lost one. This is the second occasion to play versus the Bahraini side Al Najma.

The first crowning was in 2016 after winning 4 matches and losing only once.

In 2017, Al Duhail lost to Al Najma in the final match 21 – 16.

The first final to witness two Qatari sides was in 2017 when Al Duhail defeated Al Wakra 22 – 21 to win the second Asian title.

The third title was in 2021 after overcoming the Kuwaiti Club Al Kuwait in the final and winning 27 – 24.
