Our first team of football succeeded in achieving victory in the ladt fixture of the AFC Champions League Group Stage over the Iranian Side Persepolis by two goals to one at Azadi Stadium which kicked off at 7 pm. With this result the team rached 7 points.

The first half ended in a draw by one goal each. Persepolis scored by player Shehab Zahedi in the 7th minute. However our player Mohamed Muntari scored the equalising goal in the 9th minute.

In the second half, our team performed with more concentration and moving forward in an offensive attempts on the opponents areas, while Persepolis retreated and relied on counter attacks. The referee granted a penalty to Persepolis in the 79th minute which was missed. Olunga managed in the 84th minute with splendid solo effort to seal the victory scoring the second goal.
