This morning, Mohamed Muntari, the team player, underwent a successful surgery at Aspetar Hospital on the ankle of his right foot after the injury he sustained in our national team’s friendly match versus Cambodia, which required him to be removed from the roster of the team participating in the AFC Asian Cup.

The player will undergo a period of rest before the start of his rehabilitation program in preparation for returning to training with the team again.
