The work of the Ordinary General Assembly of Al Duhail Club concluded this evening, Monday 26 August 2024, which resulted in the election of His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani as President of the Club by acclamation for a new electoral term for the next 4 years (2024-2028).

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Ibrahim Khalil Al Mohannadi gave the opening speech of the session on behalf of His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Club, and then welcomed the attendees. Then, Mr. Faisal Al Shuaibi, General Manager of the Club, opened the discussion of the points included on the agenda of the Ordinary General Assembly, where the minutes of the previous meeting held on 31/08/2023 were approved.

The club president’s report on the club activities in the year ending 2023-2024 was also discussed, in addition to approving the final account for the fiscal year 2023-2024 and approving the estimated budget for the next fiscal year. The auditor’s report was discussed and approved, in addition to appointing an auditor for a period of one year to audit the club activities for the next fiscal year, which ends on 31/05/2025.

The establishment of the Membership and Elections Affairs Committee was then approved, followed by discussing and approving the club strategic plan, in addition to discussing the proposals submitted by the honorable members, and discussing the achievements made in the past season.
