Al Duhail secured their fourth consecutive victory with a crucial win over Al Wakrah in Round 4 of the Ooredoo Stars League. Edmilson Junior’s brace sealed the deal in a match held at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.

Edmilson opened the scoring early in the match, in the 13th minute, with a precise shot from outside Al Wakrah penalty area that nestled in the bottom left corner.
Edmilson doubled his tally and Al Duhail lead in the 27th minute with another powerful shot that Al Wakrah goalkeeper couldn’t handle.
Just before halftime, Al Moez Ali had to leave the field due to an injury and was replaced by Ismail Mohamed.
Early in the second half, Ibrahima Diallo was sent off after receiving his second yellow card, forcing Al Duhail to play with ten men. Coach Galtier responded by introducing Karim Boudiaf and Sultan Al Brake for Edmilson Junior and Michael Olunga in the 54th minute.
In the 72nd minute, Al Duhail had a goal disallowed for offside after Karim Boudiaf converted a pass from Luis Alberto.
The remaining minutes passed without any further goals, and the referee blew the final whistle, confirming Al Duhail’s fourth victory of the season and their position at the top of the league table with a perfect 12 points.
