Al Duhail Olympic Football Team achieved a 2-0 victory over Al Wakrah in the first round of the Olympic League match held this evening.

Our team first goal was scored by Rashid Abdulaziz in the 53rd minute after he made a quick run from the left wing into Al Wakrah penalty area and expertly placed the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal.

Abdullah Al Sawaf added our team second goal in the 61st minute when he converted Mubarak Hamza’s cross from the left flank with his left foot into the back of Al Wakrah net, declaring the second goal for Al Duhail.

The remaining minutes did not yield any changes to the score, and the referee blew his whistle to signal the end of the match with our Olympic team winning their opening match and securing the first three points, propelling the team to the top of the league standing table at the end of our first match of the new season.
