Galtier: Al Khor game is tough and I am honored to be considered for the Qatar national team…

Christophe Galtier, the head coach of Al Duhail first team, expressed his awareness of the difficulty of the upcoming match versus Al Khor in the Ooredoo Stars League, scheduled for Saturday evening, December 7th.

Galtier opened his speech during the pre-match press conference, saying: As you know, this match is the last of the league first leg, and it is important, of course, to win it and continue the winning streak. Of course, there is a big difference between the two teams, but these matches can be deceptive, and we must be focused and deal with the match with all seriousness.

Galtier added: We played a great match versus Al Arabi and achieved a big victory, but we must start the match against Al Khor with all seriousness in order to collect the full points of the match.

He continued,: During the past period, we played many friendlies, which helped us to involve many players in order to assess the level of all players and their readiness before the upcoming matches.

Galtier went on: We must work seriously and focus in such matches, and as I mentioned, the match is not easy. We have a lesson from Al Khor and Al Sadd match after Al Khor scored two consecutive goals, despite Al Sadd comeback, but we must learn from such situations and understand the lesson and impose our style in order to win the league.

Galtier concluded: I always focus on the team and feel happy with the team. Definitely, it is something to be proud of to be nominated to lead the Qatar national team, but the Qatar Football Association has not contacted me. However, I assure you that my focus is currently with the club.
