Abdelmaqsoud: Al Khor match is not easy

Al Duhail First Football Team Player Ahmed Abdelmaqsoud emphasized the difficulty of the upcoming match versus Al Khor in the final round of the Ooredoo Stars League due to the lack of motivation for the opponents, who has lost their hopes to stay in the league next season and has been relegated to the second division.

Ahmed Abdelmaqsoud began his statements by saying: We wished to play the last match with full focus on this game only, but unfortunately in football, you cannot control everything. Some believe that the match versus Al Khor is easy, but I assure you that it is not, and it is a very difficult match. It is wrong to focus on other matches, and I believe that throughout the season, Al Sadd and we were the best two teams. Even if we lose the league, winning the Qatar Cup and the Amir Cup, in addition to the QSL Cup, is a significant gain for us.

Abdelmaqsoud added: Al Sadd had a bad start, and we defeated them with five goals. I think everyone believed that the season would be easy for us, but I know very well that it is natural for one of the two teams to win the title by a small margin due to the usual strong rivalry between both teams.

He concluded: My injury in the last match was just a head bruise and some dizziness, and from the next day onwards, things returned to normal and it was nothing more than that.
