Al Duhail First Football Team managed to snatch a qualifying ticket to the final match of the Qatar Cup competition after defeating Al Gharafa.
Al Duhail started the match with the following lineup:

Throughout the first and second halves of the match, The Tornado did not succeed in reaching Al Gharafa net, but Al Duhail was closer to scoring and more dangerous, especially in the second half. However, the team was unable to reach Al Gharafa goal until the final whistle, leading both teams to extra time.
In the first extra time period, substitute Ismail Mohamed managed to score the first goal, but the offside rule disallowed the goal after the offside was confirmed by reviewing the video assistant referee (VAR). The remaining minutes did not yield any change in the score, forcing both teams to a penalty shootout to determine the winner.
The penalty shootout smiled upon Al Duhail after the team managed to achieve a 4-2 victory, with Al Moez Ali, Edmilson Junior, Bourigeaud, and Bassam Al Rawi scored Al Duhail penalties.
With this victory, Al Duhail qualifies to meet Al Sadd in the Qatar Cup final in a highly anticipated summit at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on the 10th of May 2025.
